Ways to put a smile on a teacher's face
In the hallway today I was approached by a young student who asked:
"Um... so like, um... are you a teacher here?"
I didn't say it was a nice or friendly smile did I?
(for the record I did manage a straight face and then went running to our department secretary's office so I could share and laugh appropriately)
